Removing Unwanted Kodi Add-ons

This article will teach you how to Remove, Uninstall, and Disable Kodi Add-ons from your FOMOstream® Android TV Box.  The FOMOstream® Streaming Media Player has 100’s of Kodi Add-ons Loaded and Featured.  This tutorial will teach you how to deal with the ones you don’t want.

Keep in mind, many of these add-ons we feature are more important to the operation of your box than you may think.  Even if you don’t use a particular add-on, or think you don’t need it, it may share resources with many of your other addons (the Youtube Add-on and Limitless for example).  For this reason, we don’t recommend removing or uninstalling anything from our default setup unless you know for sure it’s relationship with others.  The erotic adult add-ons are certainly the exception to the rule.

We understand some of you might prefer to not have erotic addons displayed on your box in your home.  Currently, about 4 Adult Kodi Add-ons are located within the default setup.  These are located in your Video – Addons & also your Home Screen menu tab.  Have no fear, they can easily be removed with 4 simple clicks.  We’ll show you how!

Uninstalling Kodi Addons:

Go to Pathway: Kodi – Settings – Add-ons – My Add-ons – Video Addons

1. Highlight the Kodi Addon you want to remove
2. Press Menu on your remote
3. Select ‘Information’
4. Select ‘Uninstall’

Presto!  They will no longer be featured in your setup.

Removing XXX From Menu:

3 Easy Steps.

1. Go to Skin Settings (located under Build Menu Tab)
2. Main Menu
3. XXX – Delete or Disable

FYI.) If you just remove XXX from the menu, the adult add-on will still be inside of the Video Add-ons section.

You can set up the box if you want to keep logs of everything watched and email the log to you each week.  Telling your kids/teenagers this is possibly the best way to ensure they don’t watch anything you don’t want them to watch on the box.
